We recieved some lovely post from the awesome people over at domino, the proofs for the artic monkeys single cornerstone had arrived. Hoorar! they look great the print finish is exactly as we wanted. Just need the actual record to be in them. I think its released on the 16th of Nov, you can order it here.

PEOPLE i havent forgotten about you all. this blog has been neglected while we have been building the new site. Im really happy to say all the coding has been finished and we are shooting all the new work and resizing and doing all that fun stuff to upload everything over the next week. ready for a launch very very very soon. im really pleased with how its come out. hopefully you will be too.

to keep you updated on a couple of the little bits weve been squeezing in around some pretty huge projects that im not aloud to let out yet here is the new november rota poster, our penultimate one for them. im hoping that decembers (our last) will be something pretty special. keep your eyes peeled.

below is a continuation of the book clubs branding that we have been working on. The book club is a new bar/venue/thinking/drinking space and studios based in shorditch.

this is a sneek of one of the promo flyers we are doing. the new site will have the full project. but for now check the site and pop along to one of the many many events.

I saw this amazing hand painted sign on my way home through the wick yesterday. how good is that type.

A couple of new rota posters, september and october. feels like an age since i last did some of these. Novembers will be coming soon.
Some of the more observant might have notioced that september is a reworking of an old illustration of ours. yes it is. remix to ignition. if its good enough for r kelly its damn well good enough for us. October is all fresh have no fears.

so it felt like the first day of autumn this morning my ride was detouredto go through two parks instead of one to enjoy the end of summer sun. dreeeeaaaammmy.

our good friend and andrew wk aficionado Mr Benjamin Heath has just unveiled his new personal site. some killer work. why not look at his work. realise you need him to work for you and give him lots of money and try to remember how you ever got on without him.

Just send this little guys head of to get printed in this weeks observer sports monthly suppliments. it feels like a little bit of a departure from the norm for me and also a continuation of things.
When i was working on this i went off in a pretty differant simplified almost collage styles that proved too much of a departure for the art director, but VERY exciting for me. i hope to develope this a bit more before unvailing any new work, but yes...very exciting.

We totally went to paris! yeah!(picture by chrissie abbott) last weekend saw telegramme cough magor bucks for late books eurotube tickets and frolick round paris, to see our work at the pret a porta fashion trade show trend prediction section. We are predicting trends! yes!

this is one of the best salads ive ever had. sooo much coffee and lovely wine was drunk.
I was going to post up a couple of other pictures but realised that my phones camera is just too awful. i really need to invest in a new digital camera.

website is IN PROGRESS!!!! hooorar. hopefully it should be live and beeming by the end of the month. YES!

flatstock is growing ever closer so we are printing a whole bunch of new goodies to take over there and to put on to the new MUCH IMPROVED shop and site when its live.

Above is our effort at a flatstock poster that we will be printing up especially for the festival.
Im planning to keep a track of progress of our little german excursion when i can. What we are taking/what we are printing/ what we are drinking/ who we are meeting/ who we are watching at the festival. Its all so exciting. musnt forget we are off top paris before hand and im off to BERLIN for a nice little holiday.

Some nice exciting work happening in the studio today. redesign of the flyers and website for the Queen of hoxton continues at an alarming rate. Should all be finished up VERY soon. New illustrations for the Times weekend suplliment (we are becoming sex therapists this week!) and a continued code focused stab at the new site.

all in the hottest weather EVER! cant wait to head out and have a nice canale based beer before seeing the get up kids london show tonight.

Last night was a bit of a special night for me. I was lucky enough to be asked by the LOVELY people at Vagrant records to design and print up a tour poster for the get up kids.
I have been a huge fan of the band since i first herd something to write home about many many years ago... and to be asked to produce a tour poster marking their return to celebrate the albums 10 year aniversary was AMAZING!
Last night was the start of the European tour and was at the smallest of small venues 'the peel' in Kingston. beyond rammed everyone sang their hearts out and just made it amazing. so yes anyway... here is the poster.
pick on up if you happen to get along to any of the shows. and come and say hello if your at the london date on wednesday.

oh the design is also going to be on tshirts that you can only get hold of if you pre order the re-release HERE.

While i wait for microsoft office to re install and think about how lucky i was to recover 6 months of emails and contact from my CURSED computer i thought i better upload something to this very neglected blog. i have good reason to neglect it a bit...
we are BUSY! so many exciting things happening here at telegramme towers.
loads of new posters getting printed up ready for some AMAZING shows and tours.
ill just tease you with two, the first, above is for a friend of ours the lovely dev of Lightspeed champion. this promises to be a killer show. i havent seen dev play in AGES!

second is another poster for the veils. Keeping on a patterny theme for them (see here for the last one). Was a real plesure to do this as it marks the start of the first tour for our friends' so say so.
should be a good show aswell.

im going to keep this post short and sweet while i fix my computer and get some actual work done.

SOOOOOO desided to spend the sunnyest sunday in the new studio. i cant get enough of it. For those not in the know. We have just moved in to a wonderful new Studio in Dalston, East london. I dont have any pictures yet as i am seriously without a digital camera at the moment. anyone who is selling one super cheep PLEASE get in contact. But i assure you its lovely and we have the radest roof to hang out on!
sooo the image above is a new poster for the advice to sinnk in slowly project i think. To be honest i just to the studio and started playing with some ideas i have written on a scrap peice of paper i found in my pocket.
there are many other things i was going to post up including a selection of some AMAZING graduates i saw over the past week. but these will wait until later in the week when i dont have the lure of a hot park and cold beer.

soooo i havent posted for a little while due to the fact i have been without a computer for the past week or so.. forcing myself in to the print room. I will be putting up a whole bunch of new posters and prints soon both in the folio sections and the shop for you to spend pocket monies on.
I have really struggled without a computer this last week. making me rethink the way in which i work and my reliance on the computer and the internet. it has worried me a little. But safe to say getting my computer back today has been a real relief and i feel comfortrable once more. perhaps not nessessarely a good thing, comfort. Although there are many differant types. Some as i have found recently being AMAZING, unlike anything else and purly positive! and some scarey and counter productive forcing me to be uncreative in thinking and approaching problems opting for a safe previously walked path. I feel that i need a to be awair of my levels of comfort and to acknowledge them for the better or the worse. Enjoy them, and fend them off. hmmm. my head swirls.

I got shown this the other day and i was blown away... 1935!!

ok ok i havent blogged for a little while. almost 2 weeks i think. oh dear. but i have abeen a little busy with various illustration commisions as well as ongoing work on some bigger design projects that i am still unable to show the world. They are looking good though. sooooooo we have just finished a job for time out guides 2010 (so weired to write that-still no hover boards) diary. 8 differant section deviders. here are a couple....

Chris is away in New york this week mixing both business and pleasure so i am all alone in the studio welcomeing any visitor s that want to come and drink tea and distract me. While he has been away i have been left in charge of the new queen of hoxton poster usually his feild of expertease. i think it worked ok?

This past weekend i managed to exscape the studio long enough to frolik in the new forest climbing trees' making anaimations drinking gin and watching ponies steal childrens food. On the way home i dropped in to my parents to see that they had the edition of the times review with this illustration we did last week.

talking of editorial, i Have literally JUST finished this little guy for an Australian magazine about more popel in cities keeping live stock. Turns out that in australia you can RENT chickens. sounds a bit good.

Tomorrow is winchester school of arts first graduating class from thier new design course.

So you may or not have noticed that the site has had a nice little update and a bit of re-jig. Hopefully it all works nice and smooth and you like the new format.
A you can see i was helped by ivor to get all the images for the site ready intime. Hi paw to that cat.
so the weekend....well yikes.

I went to see my long time hero Andrew Wk play a simply unbelievable show at the old blue last. It Was his 30th Birthday and it was beyond amazing....Its a gig i will never forget. I have never seen so many people have so much fun at one time! see all the photos from the Vice (groan) blog here.
The sunday was a little more whole some with killer bike rides, hot sun, and cool beer. Summer is here and its swallowed me whole.

vimto or american soda

i really like matt and kim at the moment.

So buck 65 was pretty good last night. Ive never been to the jazz cafe before....very strange venue. We sat at the top and drankj gin and tonics while looking over theshow. Felt very grown up.
anyway the highlight of the eve was the trainride home.
after i goto on the wonderful overland service from camden back hackney wick i could smell vimto in the train. This was really nice and instanty made the journey more fun. then a man who had previously fallen in to me with his bike turned to me saying that he could smell American cream soda. And so a debate nsued with me smelling vimto and he smelling cream soda. Who was putting this smell in to the trains ? the government? TFL? either way a talking point. excellent! then upon him departing the train i was approched by a man telling me the train was making music! As weired as i thought this was i listened and indeed the train was making two alternating frequencies! afggggghhh weired. We then had a discussion about machines macking noises and a documentary i had heard where a man had recorded the machines and computers in his office to hear what overall chord was being produced and whether it was a minor or major chord and how that effects our lives aat work. he then as he left told me check out Alvin Lucia, a founder of the sonic arts union. WHo produced this really interesting piece of work in 1970's.
Wierd, but brilliant journy.
In work related news we have almost finished a new branding job that im pretty excited to show. but we must hold on to it a little longer for now. Im going to be updated the site either today or tomorrow with loads of new illustration and other bits and bobs so look out for that.

Just finished these 3 drawings for the Financial times magazine. Is the first part of a 2 week job. So when you all get your FT delivered this weekend whiloe drinking your capachinos on saturday morning you can view our drawings and read all about what JP morgan got up to a few years ago and its knock on effect on the economic world. This has been a super fun challange for me knowing very little about the economy either here in the UK or in Aymericaahh.
As we come to the end of April i have been thinking muchly about the past 2 months. We have been lucky enough to work on some ace projects with some lovely people. I have finally settled in to what i am doing and am feeling fortunate to hangout with and meet some brilliant people. This month I have felt free of mind and happy. A wave of Fear and loathing crept up on me yesterday that i need to shake and embrace what i am doing in and out of the studio. Horray for the world, seeing, listening, meeting, experiencing. Appologies that this is less work related but it all works together in one beautiful mess of life right?

Friday - Had to sad sad fairwells to good a friend and get strange on caffinated versions of sailor jerries. too much good fun fancie dressing and a killer DJset byTelegrammes very own Chris Gove, ensued dancing and partying late late througout the night. and fuzzy heads on a very veryearly saturday morning.
Saturday- The Awesome Pulled apart by horses played a super ace shout along set at the always funand perpetually spring brocken ROTA. Found out that Singer and all round super nice man Tom was part of the Ace Nous Vous Collective in leeds. Might have managed to bend his very tired ear and twist his arm in to working on the shhhh its a secrete exhibtion thing in sept. yayyy.
Also managed to stumble upon a pass for the camden CRUEL in the eve. Its such an ace idea but for some reason (over sellingtickets + poor organisation + drunk people everywhere + camden) didnt work. Only saw the (admitedly good) Three Trapped Tigers. I think we decided that they were good but pretty much a band for musicians....'wow look at that (insert piece of equipment)' ' did you hear that time signature...sooooo tech' ect ect. although i play instraments andreally liked there set.
Sunday - long walks followed by scissor kick practicing session(with too late photgraphs.)

so much to do this week. more FT more everything and organising a night of sheer rock goodness.

lets get metal

So to celebrate the month of may and the wonderful birthdays that full there in we are having a glam metal party at the faactory. We have been lucky enough to secure the emence force that it Attractive package to keep us scissor kicking in to the small hours.
I knocked up this little image ^. Was kind of fun making it as its unlike anything i have done since i left my 'real job' about a year and a half. We never get to make things look shiney anymore. Nice to know i can remember where the layer filters are on the photoshops.
This past weekend was so nice and seemed somewhat super productive. Managed to make it to the excellent Sadie Coles HQ gallery to check out JIM LAMBIE's new show.
I Wasnt particually in to the metal belt chairs but the floor and the records set in to concrete blocks were Amazing. The whole gallery was glowing pink and i managed to get fully disorientated by the patterns. have a better look here.

Then it was back on the bike. It was the first time ive ever ridden in central london. the second you get past holborn the roads become insanly intimidating and with a lack of pump and a semi flat back tire i just escaped near death. fun fun. right so after gettingback on the bikes it was off to the MYTHOLOGIES exhibition at the haunchof venison hosted at . Firstsly the type for this show was awesome. I beleieve it was done by MM PARIS.
The show was pretty broad and and expansive and managed to mix opinions pretty well but i really liked quite a bit of work here.
Back on the bikes arguing about the show and off to bask in beautiful april sunshine and find some cold beers for the park. YUSSS. avoiding insane drivers in town.
So tonight im off to go find out more about a band i managed to catch last week. I cant find anything about them online,myspace or ANYTHING! not to be confused with this band. Sharks seemed to be about 18 and played a set complete with windmills and had a huge gaslight anthem/ springsteen sound. They are on super early at the El Paso Bar on oldstreet. am pretty excited.
i hope everyones week is full of sun and fun.

Always Like This

Had an epic day of running around london for various meetings and what nots. Managed to pop in to the excellent John Purcell Paper to oggle various new stocks that we are getting our hands on for new projects/exhibitions and personal projects. I love going in there totally geeking out and the smell is amazing. Plus the people are soooo super nice except for a man that grunted at us as we left.hmmm.
after many other bits and bobs and meetinsg and WAY too much coffee and shakes. I went to some ace show openings including Tobias Rehberger's new show at Pilarcorrias. Named Cuckoo Clock Show the show pretty much revolves around time.

So i have heard more and more about Andrew Holder over the past few months. I remember seeing his work for the first time on Grain edit. All the praise is SOOOO deserved i love his distorted perspective and incredable colour use! too good.

Just finished this new editorial piece for velovity magazine. Its about how a new art venture in Dundee can regenerate the city.A fantastic sentiment that i guesse only time can tell if it comes true?

Stubbled upon this video today. its really pretty amazing and reminds me loads of Theo Jansen.
It just blows my mind so much i have no idea how trheyy can be thought of, let alone beginning to engineer the machanics. They are so organic and the movement is beutiful. gasp.

I'd like to move here please. Its such an amazing space so nicely finished! such a 14 year olds dream. i dont think ill grow out of that dream. Its a weired coincidence i found this today as i watched BIG again last night for like 50th time and the bit where he gets his appartment has always been my favourite bit (appart of course from the keyboard bit). I wanted that appartment soooo much when i was 11.

Soooo decisions desisions tonbight. do i go and jonah Matrenga alllllll the way in central or see dananananakroyd just a short bike ride away. damn the two shows in one night conundrum. If anyone want to make my mind up?

The weekend didnt go as planned but i think thge suprise ofevents worked out a ok anyway.
Didnt make it to the private view i was supposed to go to on friday but ended up seeing the virgins at KOKO. who were ummmm...... he had good shoes on. Due to friday rudly falling all over saturday morning i managed to not make it to hampstead for the carboot sale but found 2 yes two house clearance polaces jut off roman road! ACE! picked up a whole bunch of records with some lovely tyype and a new camera that im gonna try out this week!

Thanks to Zosienka for the ace ace ace willam morris postcard that popped through the telegramme letter box this week. I had no idea what he looked like and the portrait is just brillaint. i need to get hold of an old style bow tie for telegrammes dress up fridays. just need to learn how to grow a moustach.
Wednesday i took a trip to the Russian club Gallery/studio space for a private view. Having not been there yet me the building/ space dwarfed the show for me. The invites were fantastic and set to a generic design by Tommorow Studio.

Thanks to this brilliant blog. i came accross this flickr group of Ghost Signs. Such nice type fading away. Really reminds me of back home in eastleigh where we had old terrace houses with old nestles adverts on the side. So pleased that there is still some around eastlondon still. Are they protected? they so should be. Look at the photos here.

Olympus XA vs LOMO LCA

So i have been lookingin to getting my Lomo Fixed or Even coughing up the big bucks to get a replacemnt for my poorly picture partner.
however some advice suggests i should save some money and invest in a Olmpus XA.

This video is ace. I want this man next to me at all times just advicing me what to do in my life.
I am currently looking on ebay for an Olympus XA.

Tonight i am off to check out the James Taylor Gallery and a couple of installations.I have yet to goto this Gallery Run by the lovely Will Evans(who is also exhibiting). So really interested in the space. See you down there.

Was cool getting to work on the concept for the piece instead of just following scamps. Nice little brain box challange. This piece is about the impact of swearing and advertising in differant languages on you perception. I hope that comes across.

The zamo lable has such ace type and the colour is brilliant. Ive just realised weirdly that the factory is just literally just round the corner. with even better hand painted type look.........

^This weekend^Decided i wanted a scooter.Drank The best coffee in the whole of London (maybe) and sat in a lovely new summer happy pub.
Loads of work getting finished and started this week. New illustration jobs and some more work on the New Taberbacle site.
Going to have to resisit the lure of outside this week!
been trying to work on some other bits and bobs of personal work recently. heavely inspired by BIG type and signs at the moment.
found the work of RIPO thismorning. some of it is a little too graffiti but there is some amazing classic type work.

I AM so super inspired at the moemnt. it feels great. just need more time in the day.

All this and trying to finish the Second of my seasonal split ep's with pip at the moment. spring is sprung and i havent recorded my half yet. think its looking like 3 songs each. HOPEFULLY available for free download on Easter Sunday... and thats next this sunday i think?!im really happy with the songs ive done. A little worried about the words. They are a little.....ummm i guesse obvious (blatent might be the best phrase) and really honest. and thats always a bit strange to send out in to the world. but i am pleased with them. just need to nail the recordings.

Does anyone know of a really good monitor going for really cheep. going to be monitorless midweek this week and need a new one. any suggestions very welcome.

Working away on The new Tabernacle site this week, its been ace and Super difficult which has also been ace. Have been focusing loads on new illustrations and almost forgetting design. But feel like im falling back in to it aok espesially as we embark on a new project that we have been researching this week (more will be explained in time).
However on my travels on the internet i came across this incredable london based architecture and design company 'FAT'. Their choice of colour and shape is incredable and continues through thier architecture to their furnature design and beyond. Its simply beutiful. look look....

Been struggling with music this week so could REALLY do with some s
uggestions. Especially as myspace keeps doofing up. so anything on spotify would be brilliant please... any shared playlists?????

So i have been lucky to have been visited by the postman twice in the last 2 days!!!!
and BOTH times a little postcard book popped in to the Telegramme letter box.
Yesterday i recieved Volume 2 of the Advice to sink in slowly postcard book. THANKS john. Its looking brilliant. Hot on the heels of the first one it features 24 differant postcards passing on sage wisdom for new students including ours below.... Absolutly love the cover by Frank Chimero. Totally check his work out.

The site we have deisgned for advice to sink in is still in build stages. But is getting pretty close to completion and is look RAD! Cant wait to show it to all. Im really pleased with it and the project is really gonna blow up when its launched.

Today i recieved this little book ...

...from the lovely Yee Ting Kuit. It features A whole bunch of brilliant female illustrators including Yee. You can check it out HERE with much better images. My camera was being duff today.

Saw this this morning and blew my coffee fueled head off, i couldnt sit still. Is rediculous but super fun. AWESOME!

Hot off the Telegramme Press. Just finished this poster for the Manchester Orchestra at the Barfly. Im so excited about seeing them and have been rewatching a whole bunch of thier tour podcasts.
They are friends with the hilarious and always excellent to see kevin devine which, when spending my friday evening with a good friend watching old pop punk videos in an effort to regain our every disspearing youth made me remember this video (that is a badly constructed sentence if ever i read one):

i think Kevin told this story last time we saw him at the borderline. either way its brilliant.

Tonight i was planning to try to see three shows in one night! would be pretty ace except i got carried away in the stuio and then have been offered a spagetti bolegnaise that i cant refuse. so looks like itll have to just be too as i wont make it to see televised crimewaves instore single release show. which is a shame as i havent seen those guys in an age and was hoping to party briefly withthem before hoping back on the bike to see so say so's show at the hoxton bar and grill before back on the bike to trundle to the old blue last to catch the Outcry collective...phewwwww. bike ride gig a thon!

I fell in love with this project when I found it on FECAL FACE last week. its really pretty incredable. The photography is beutiful and the storys facinating. It reminds me loads of This american life on NPR. So i was an instant fan and got sucked in to my computer screen.

In other news I didnt get round to posting this up last week, im very slack with this blogging business but am trying to be better honest. but anyway.... Fueled by red stripe, Loren and i have been busy with our weekends painting a whole hoast of signs for the factory and beyond. we are going to put the new front door sign up tonight so ill post a picture of it tomorrow.

This weekend saw us miss going along to the cambridge 'Poster Roast', as we have been bsuy building our new printing studio and printing madly for an exhibtion opening tomo. But we managed to get some posters down to this ace event so our presence was there in some form Big thanks go to the awesome Alex of Thr33 Designs. who put the whole thing on.
Pennines played as did the excellent Tellison. and by all accounts it was a wonderfully riotous affair with some amqazing prints by equally amazing people.

The new shop will be up and running hopefully by the end of tomorrow along with some new designs and things to buy!!!

firstly on saturday by the new FAILE, exhibition at ilian Baylis Old School, Lollard St, London, SE11 6PY.
I cant recomend going to thgis exhibtion enough. my jaw literaly dropped when i got through the door, plus the door men are really funny and one borrowed my skateboard.

i know it needs some work! a bit of brasso and wire wool here, some oil there. but it rides like a dream all smooth and silent like adeadly assassin, only nicer.
my last bike that was stolen by mark holt and then returned by this drunk vagrant, before being stolen at said party was named sean bean (sharpe era) for his rugged good looks and debanaire way with the ladies, so i need to find a name for this new guy. any ideas people answers on a virtual comment postcard. and i might find something as a prize for the best one.
anybody that wants a nice autumnal bike ride please let me know.

Finally managed to print up the advice to sink in slowly 'look beyond...' poster. will be available from the Advise to sink in slowly shop as soon as the new site is online. We have finished all the design side of things with the site. The coding is just getting finished and it'll be ready to launch. Should be up in the next week or so i hope. im really proud of it and cant wait for everyone to be able to see it.

The 'This town' poster above is going to be available in the shop by the end of the week.

On the most beutiful saturday I wondered along to Sonia Blair's Exhibtion at the Truman Brewry on brick lane. We created the identity and vinyls for it along with doing a tempory holding site for the show and we are currently working on the full site to launch in a couple of weeks. phewww lots going on here.

On a differant note...Does anyone want to send me some new music? i am getting a bit bored of what im listening to at the moment and need some help.

South London based artist, Tobias Revell, asked us to be part of a group show in New Cross in August, not only did we agree but we went the extra mile and produced the identity and poster for this little event.

The Poster , obviously based on the name, came from building my own board of pins. great excuse to get away from the desk.

Here are some pictures of Our summer 08 promo poster. A 14"x 20"3 colour screen print. White, orange and brown on lush thick creamy stock. These will be available in the store in the next few days and are really super limited. Get 'um whil they are hot.
Lots of site updates coming over the net few days and a shop rejig on its way.

SUMMER CAME TO VISIT for a day or two:

The holdsteady came to HMV for an instore performance. Its the only instore ive intentionally been to, and rather strange the whole affair is, having to only play songs off the new album as a pure promotional tool was odd, in a 'jules holland later...' kind of way but getting to see the hold steady after missing my (free) chance at o2 last week was worth it so all was fine. its increadable to see a band actually enjoying playing! talk about way too rare. Then it was off to KOKO to catch the Deathcab 'itunes live' show. thanks to Jasmin for passing me on a winning golden ticket! Again the show had a strange 'promotional' set list, due to being recorded to put up on itunes the band played a kind of festival set of singles and crowd favorites but again it was ace to see them as always...well...its deathcab. Plus BONUS....the tickets also included 10 free downloads. well done itunes.

The Canal Was very green this morning. Im not sure what this means but it looked amazing... no water was visable...kind of like deadly astro turf.

Tuesday i printed a whole bunch of posters for UNKLE. these metallic 3 colour (red with a hint of gold, black with a hint of silver and silver with a hint of gold) bad boys are based on the latest sleeve art by surrenderarts. Printed espesially for unkle's show on saturday, these are a really illimited edition but we have a couple that will be available from the shop, next week sometime.

So i've just got back from Falmouth in Cornwall, from a weekend of bike boats, BBQ's and general adventures. It was my first summer holiday in a couple of years, massive thanks to Oliver for being an incredible host and tour guide.

Im fully refreshed and ready to continue on with some really ace projects we have happening here.

This was on the wall of the studio we've been printing in recently as we continue to build our print room at the factory....this week we got a kick ass pressure washer and FINALLY sourced the bulb we need for our exposure unit.

In other news, we finished laying out a lovely poster for UNKLE today and it will be printed up next week.

Above is our new notice board. A quiet wednesday evening and bunch of spare wood led to this little log cabin construction. Lots of new work to go up in the next week. new posters, new patterns.

This week saw us receive a few books that we are in peek below:

Quite a few of our patterns are featured in these two books, both have some amazing work. Really diverse and origional stuff in here.

Its been a little while in the making but finally the Advice to sink in slowly postcard book is out!!
We designed the front and back covers and tweeked some type in this beautiful publication. This is such a wonderful project and we have loved working with john from fca on this. please check out the site here and maybe even pick up a copy of the book.

SOooooooo this weekend telegramme have a packed schedual of shows...
Tonight we are off to see Kevin Devine former lead singer of miracle of 86, at the ace venue, the borderline.
Saturday is the first ever show at the studio, LRB play hoast to our friends TELEVISED CRIMEWAVE.
Monday see's us finally getting to see the genius of ex get up kids front man Matt Pryor with The New amsterdams at cargo!!!! i have only been waiting about 10 years to see him. sooooooo excited!

New Austin Gallery opening tonight on 119 Bethnal green rd. the soirée begins at 8.

ROTA of course, Attack in Black are playing theire only uk show. They are officially one of my new Favourite bands at the moment and apparently amazing live!

I just finished watching this video for an incredible inspirational exhibtion, 'Design and the Elastic Mind':
taken from, Cool Hunting.

I was stuck in the studio till pretty late last night so missed PORTASOUND and TIRED IRIE in Hoxton. I heard it was a good show. I am really liking 'pint of nesquick' on portasounds myspace, it makes me feel very odd, in a very good way.

Lots of exciting projects in the pipeline and some new posters to go up online very soon.

Listening to: no idea what it is...some idie band on the leon cafe playlist???im not desperate to find out...oh wait Elliot smith just came on.

check out the craftmanship of our new breakfast bar in the studio!!! its amazing what can be done with some 'found' old, iron frames and some rusty doors. Chris spent a weekend with our architect and power tool loon friend, Hartle and whipped up this little construction. I spent a while sanding down one of the doors, hoping to never have to use it again, metal dust aint pretty.
im working on building a wooden top for it at the moment. This is all a distraction because i dont have the cable to upload the photos of dashboards show last night....dashboard in a church. very strange indeed.
Having arrived late not only did we not manage to grab a picture of the merch table ladened with our posters, we also managed to miss John Ralston. The venue was simply amazing despite the pretty awful sound, most likely due to the fact of our late coming we only managed to get a space behind the pa. It seemed like everyone had a lovely time and the kids sang and the parents sat and dashboard screamed.
ill upload a picture tomorrow maybe. for now i have posters to draw.

OH and thanks to Jasmin for sorting death cab tickets!!!!!!
