This show was STRANGE! I was new to the weired and wonderful insane world of Adebisi Shank when it came to this poster but seeing them blew my socks clean off. WOW!

Monday saw Telegrammes first lecture. We rambled about ourselves to teh attentive ears of Winchester school of arts's graphic design course. Big thanks go out to tutor, Tim metcalf who made us feel really welcome and relaxed enough to calm the coffee shakes i managed to pick up on the train down. The lecture focused on the pitfalls of starting a design/ilustration company straight out of art scool. Things we know all to well. Money(lack there of), creativity, clients, tax, ignorance to the world of business.... and everything we didnt know. LEARNING THE HARD WAY couldve been an appropriate title.
we created a whole bunch of unique illustrations for the talk here are a couple:

teleportation machine designs on a postcard to the usual address.
Originally designed as a wallpaper for the background of a photoshoot, the design was instead used as a projection for the Arctic Monkeys 'Live Web Transmission'. We later adapted the nettles pattern for the 10" and 7" release of the above single 'Cornerstone'.
PS. If you put the sleeves side by side the pattern should tile and repeat.

This means a fresh blog and a hell of an easier one to update. So expect some low quality photos from my awful phone camera and ramblings on our work, other peoples work and various bits and pieces.
I found this Sign just round the corner from the studio. Amazing piece of accidental type play. Photocopy settings set to ENLARGE!
While we are on the subject of lo quality photos. I snuck my phone out while at BOB EIGHT POP's incredable print studio. Bob and his team, have been working their fingers to the bone printing 750 posters we designed for the Arctic Monkeys, UK areana tour that is ON RIGHT NOW! I cant tell you how happy we were with the results. These guys KNOW their printing!
Enjoy the new site. Please let us know what you think. Robert@telegramme.co.uk Im off for Falafel and meetings.
Leonard Street in East London is now the place to be, The Book Club is both a great venue for drinking and socialising, but also hosting interesting talks and lectures. We created the Identity and inhouse graphic direction for all signage and print matter. This genuinely is an intersting venue with amazing interior design by Shai Akram and Andrew Haythornthwaite.
We were asked to design a tour poster for the UK leg of the Arctic monkeys world tour. With this gold snake and black playing cards we put an emphasis on their the new dark sound. This run of 750 are only for sale on the tour, so pop along and pick yourselves a up a glittery gambling snake.
Printed by the wonderful, talented people at Bob Eight Pop (Gold and Black on Kaskad Vellum 225 gsm, 420 × 594mm.)
Poncho No.8 is a new buritto resturant in Spitalfields, London. The food is amazing! All recipies were put together by the owners and the ingredients are organic. We created the branding, menus and illustrations whilst working alongside the guys at Something From Us on interiors.
Logo redesign, house style, monthly flyer and website were designed for east-end bar/live venue 'The Legion'. Telegramme welcomed the chance to do something that was a mix of photographic and ilustrative elements.
Identity, stationary, PR pack and website for the launch of Healthy Yummies, a 'are a young, creative catering company whose mission is to provide good food without pretension to a wide audience.'
Healthy Yummies began its life providing food for kids’ parties and family events and they believe good food is at the heart of a happy house hold and we applied this philosophy to the aesthetic of the brand. We aimed to carry across this wholesome family messege while retailning a mature foodies attitude. We developed an adaptable logo system to fit the wide range of events HY cater for and a simple elegant visual language to acompany it all.
Identity and motion graphics for Alexa Chungs second series of 'It's on with ALexa Chung'. Final Deliverables included: Logo, lower thirds, backgrounds and monitor loops as well as a brand guide to ensure all our hard work is used correctly.
Poster for the beautiful Icelandic band múm. We didnt make this show unfortunatly but from all acounts of EVERYONE I KNOW having gone, we missed out BIG.
We were lucky enough to be asked by Vagrant Records to produce a tour poster for the return of the THE GET UP KIDS. After 10 years of the release of the seminal Album, Somthing To Write Home About and about 5 years after they departed ways, we printed up a limited run of these for the lucky few who made it to the amazing shows.
Illustration for Scottish post hardcore band Flood of Red. This was a 3 colour screenprint that came free inside a limited edition of the 12" vinyl release of the album.
Skulls are pretty cool. So when we were asked to produce some illustrations for the 09/10 trend prediction exhibtion Pret a Porté, Paris - skulls were the first thing that came to mind.
2 x Single colour, metallic silver screenprint on 594 × 841mm black, Colourplan paper.
Poster for the amazing Manchester Orchestra, was a pleasure to do this for these guys. Check them out and while your there have a watch of their often hilarious video blog.
Managed to get to the roundhouse show and wow. they know how to put a show on! Although we were the youngest in the crowed by quite a way...a nice rarity these days!
The barfly asked us to create a tour poster for previous clients and pervayers of fine math pop, This Town Needs Guns naturally we jumped at the chance. A gif banner was also added to the barfly site.
Poster for the always brilliant Jonquil. We have been fortunate to see these guys a few times in 2008 and never have huge prog folk accapellas sounded so good.
We were asked to design a poster for this awesome group show at the super hip 'New Cross Inn'. It was developed from a board we made with a grid of nails and a whole lot of thread.
Telegramme have been fans of dashboard confession since our younger days. So it was an honour that we got to do this 2 colour screenprint for the his UK tour. We managed to go to the show in the St James's church, Picadilly. Huge, gothic and weired with kids sat on the floor and parents in the pews. But pretty amazing none the less.
2 Colour screenprint for Dashboard Confessional UK tour 2008. Yellow and charcoal on lovely thick creamy stock. 25cm w X 70cm
